Hieronder volgt een samenvatting van een
recensie
gepubliceerd in het Britse muziekblad “Powerplay
Magazine”.
Mazy
Lane have an excellent new fourteen track album out now called
“Back In Motion”,
which clocks in at around fifty-one minutes long. The band
members are all seasoned musicians.
Their new album is smooth and slick, very retro blues rock and
melodic. The music breathes.
The band have self produced the album and have done a fine and
classy job,
the production is airy, and the songs glide through the room
with a polished sheen,
where one finds oneself getting lost in the music.
Strong bass playing from Renee Lopez with soulful vocals from
Leo Scheffers.
The lyrics are honest and homegrown and tend to tell stories.
“Back In Motion” is a refreshing album and when you listen
deep you can hear that Mazy Lane
have their own sound and style, and this will be an album you
want to revisit again and again.
Classic Blues Pop Rock at his finest.
